Description:
Drilling pump is a horizontal triplex single action piston pump; it is an important equipment for drilling. In operation, it pumps cyclic high-pressure drilling fluid to rinse well bottom, break rocks, cool and lubricate drill bit, and bring cuttings back to ground.
Drilling pump is mainly consisted of drive end and hydraulic end. As figure indicated, drive end is consisted of pinion shaft, crank link and crosshead slide mechanism, to provide driving force for hydraulic end, and transfer rotary motion to straight reciprocating motion. Piston at hydraulic end does reciprocating motion in cylinder liner with driving force coming from drive end, interacting with suction valve and outlet valve; it compresses low pressure mud, and then discharges high pressure mud.
