The electric motor of single drum electric winch will drive the drum by gearbox and there is brake between motor and gearbox. To suitable to lift, pull, rotate and more working requirements, there are double drums electric winch and multi drums electric winch. Generally if the rated loading is less than 10T, it will be designed to electric winch.
