Introduction
The pneumatic tube clutch is friction clutch moving with the compressed air as handling power. The pneumatic tube clutch is generally used in the large equipment, which need to deliver the big torque and change the turning direction with the fast speed, such as the petroleum drilling machine, ship, large machinical press machine, excavator, ball mill, rubber and plastics machine etc..
The pneumatic tube clutch has big deliver torque, steady joint, it is easy to install, shock and vibration absorption. The pneumatic tube clutch has big resistance to transform and its material cost is very high. The temperature of the pneumatic tube clutch is limited, it can not be higher than 60 ℃, otherwise it will lower the pneumatic tube clutch life span. If the temperature is lower than-20 ℃, the pneumatic tube clutch will be crisp and frailty. The joint elements of the pneumatic tube clutch is mainly used friction plate and friction block.
Type
The pneumatic tube clutch can be divided into common type and ventilated type according to its different construction form.
(1) Common type:
Depending on the pneumatic tube to deliver the torque. The construction is simple, and require low manufactureing techniqu and installing technique. Thermolysis is not as good as ventilated type. This type of pneumatic tube clutch has bigger pneumatic tube capacity, so the aeration and deflate need to have longer time, it is easy to get slippery.
(2) Ventilated type
This type of the pneumatic tube clutch is developped aiming at to fullfile the disadvantages of the common type of the pneumatic tube clutch.This type of pneumatic tube clutch increases one set of heat dissipation and transmission device on its structure.
