Applications:
Wool Ring Length Meter is designed for testing the circumference of wool yarn and fabric yarn rings. Used to determine whether the ring length of skein in different linear density (count) conforms to standards or not.
Product Information:
The hank yarn is spread out evenly and applied a specified tension, read the value indicated by the pointer to judge the skein ring length meet the standards or not.
Structures:
The top stand that fixed on the base is used to secure the upper sleeve, gauge, also served as the slide rail of the lower sleeve. The tested hark yarn is hanged around the roller of the upper and down sleeve, adjust the position of upper sleeve fixed on the top stand for hark yarn with different circumferences. Select the proper weight specified in standards for the tested hand yarn. Then a lever exerts pressure to the samples.
Testing Method:
The upper end of conditioned samples is hanged on the cultellate plate of the instrument, spreading out evenly, with the other end hanging on the lower cultellate plate. Mount the specified hammer to slowly descend the lower plate. After the movement calms down, record the value on the scale in a half minute with accuracy of 2.5px. The hanging hammer (including the 1.4kg self weight of cultellate plate) specified as following:

The ring length (L) is calculated by a formula: A=(L-πd)/2.
