Applications:
Digital aerodynamic Stiffness Tester, the bending cycle based on ASTM test method to detect fabric softness. Suitable for the detecting stiffness (bending resistance to multiple directions of textiles) of various fabrics (including knitted fabric and the textile fiber).
Product Information:
The bending height, bending rigidity, bending modulus of fabric could be obtained by simple operation and calculation. A straight and folded fabric sample is pushed into the platform orifice using a circular plunger, the maximum pressure that the fabric sample getting into the orifice needed is the fabric stiffness.
The instrument consists of a stainless steel base which includes a top stand used for installing cylinder and the Pull/Push Scale, a filter regulator connected to air supply in the laboratory, and two manual start buttons.
Features:
1. A plunger of 25.4mm (1 in) diameter pushes the fabric through a 38mm (1.5 in) diameter orifice for a distance of 57mm (2.25in) in 1.7 seconds and the maximum thrust is recorded.
2. Using the ASTM circular bend test method, easy for operation.
