Applications:
The bending property is the important physical character in studying the performance of stiffness, drape, softness of fabrics. Both the two mechanics indexes of bending length (drape stiffness) and bending rigidity (bending stiffness) is used for indicating deformation resistance in bending directions of fabric, called stiffness.
The instrument has been utilized to evaluate the stiffness properties of all kinds of woven and knit goods, nonwoven fabrics and coated fabrics, including cotton, wool, silk, linen and chemical fiber, may also be used to evaluate films, paper, leather and other flexible materials.
Features:
An invisibly detecting cant of infrared beam, which replaces the traditional visible cant, it eliminates influence on measuring accuracy due to the torsional sample picked up by cant, with the character of non-contact detection. As well as it is possible to adjust the measuring Angle.
The device is designed with an automatic detection system free from the drawback that existed in visual, increasing the property of anti-interference. The automatic landing gear of sample plate ensures the accuracy and consistency of positioning for pressure plate and sample, providing an improved working efficiency.
