Because the lined ceramic pipeline is of high hardness by integral forming process.The slurry wouldn't permeate through it.Moreover,the process of isostatic pressing dry powder is favorable to the uniformity of ceramic crystal structure.So its wear resistance is superior to ceramic tile's.
Wear is fast when the pipelines are conveying pointed materials(ash,coal powder,mine flavor powder,tailings,cement etc).Especially for elbows.Without any protection,pipeline corroded will be quickly worn out when inside material include strong corrosive gas,fluid and solid.Some pipelines mounted on the bracket in the air are inconvenient for maintenance,once worn through,will seriously influence safe operation.
Integrated wear resistant ceramic bend can effectively solve this problem.
