These are LED bulbs that emit a nice blue light. They are exactly what I wanted for my vehicle. I can confirm they will fit a 192 and a 168 bulb socket. I used these for the interior courtesy lights in my truck near the kick panels, although I do believe they are a little too bright for my liking. I would prefer if they were about half as luminous as they are, as more of a subtle mood lighting near the feet while the overhead map/courtesy lights provide light to see. These will by no means light the outside of your vehicle, nor could you use them as a map light to read something in the dark of night. That said, if you're looking for some fairly bright blue lights, look no further. I definitely recommend.
