Green Silicon Carbide are made of silicon oxide, petroleum coke, apppended with salt, then smelt in high temperature electric arc furnace. It is green crystal structure, the distinguished features are its high hardness and strong cutting ability Its hardness is higher than corundum, and ranks below diamond. Mechanical strength is higher than corundum.
Green Silicon Carbide Abrasive Powder also named green silicon carbide micropowder, is made from high purity green silicon carbide crude through special technics.
