Note for installation

When two sets of pumping are installed side by side, pay attention to the interval, which is generally D×3 times;

The suction pipe should adopt less bend pipes as far as possible, to prevent part of the suction pipe higher than the pumping center;

 

 

Start, Stop and Running

  • Start
    • When turning the water pump with hand, it should run flexibly without friction. Start the motor to confirm whether the rotation direction is correct (It should be clock-wise viewed from the motor fan). The start time cannot be more than 5s in order to avoid damaging the mechanical seal.
    • Close the gate valves on the outlet pipe.
    • Inject water into the pump and make it full, or draw water with the vacuum pump.
    • Make several turns of pipe with hand, so that a liquid film may be formed on the second friction surface of mechanical seal.
    • Power-on. When the pump is running normally, open the gate valves of the outlet pipe line gradually, and adjust the pressure to the pressure value indicated on the pump name plate (The too low outlet pressure will make the pump running at large flow, causing superpower).
  • Stop
    • Close the gate valves on the outlet pipe line gradually. Cut off the power.
    • If the environment temperature is below 0, exhaust the pumped medium in the pump to avoid frost crack.
    • If it is out of service for a long term, the pump should be disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and kept with packing.
  • Running
    • In the process of starting up and running, pay attention to observing meter reading, bearing fever heat, water leakage of mechanical seal as well as whether the vibration and noise are normal. If abnormal condition is discovered, it should be handled timely.
    • The bearing temperature should be no more than 80, and the bearing temperature should not exceed the environment temperature more than 40.
