Performance characteristics
1.Excellent heat resistance and cold resistance. From ultra-low temperature of -270 degrees to 3650 degrees (in non oxidizing gas) of high temperature, the physical properties has almost no change, in the air , it can also be used 450 degrees.
2. Excellent chemical resistance. Flexible graphite were corrosive in Strong oxidizing medium such as aqua regia, concentrated nitric acid and concentrated and high temperature dichromate, Potassium Permanganate, ferric chloride, Corrosion resistant to almost all inorganic and organic media.
3. Good self lubrication. The same as natural graphite, the flexible graphite is easy to slide under the action of external force, so it has the property of lubrication, good abrasion resistance and small friction coefficient;
4. High rebound rate. When the shaft or sleeve has a deviation and radial runout for manufacturing, installation problems, it has sufficient floating performance, even if the graphite cracks, it can close together, thus ensuring closeness and preventing leakage.
