High Temperature Resistant Silicone glass fibre fire retardant hose protector is designed to protect hoses, wires and cables from the hazards of intense heat and occasional direct flame. Firesleeve protects continuously to 500°F (260°C) and will withstand a molten splash at 2200°F (1200°C).
Fire Sleeve solves the problem of heat and abrasions damaging fuel, transmission and brake lines and is a fireproof solution. Constructed from a high temperature resistant braided glass material, woven into a sleeve and heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber, Fire Sleeve thermal insulator sleeve provides the ultimate in heat insulation and protection from direct heat up to 500°F.
For use in high temperature applications Specifications: • Braided fiberglass sleeve and an orange, bonded and seamless silicone rubber cover • Conforms to SAE Aerospace standard 1072E • Temperature range: -65F to +500F (-54C to +260C) continuous exposure, up to 2000F (1093C) for 15-20 minutes and up to 3000F (1650C) for 15-30 seconds
