Stair tread bar grating is available in or stainless steel. Serrated stair treads offer good protection against slips in areas prone to oil or other hazardous elements.

The general construction of stair treads is the same as other bar grating with additional reinforcement and extra safety adjustments for stair applications. The nosing is a channel or angle of material that is attached to the leading edge of the stair tread providing increased edge visibility and slip resistance. Nosing types can be checker plate, cast abrasive or aluminum grooved.
Welded stair treads are manufactured from standard 194 Grating with a patterned floor plate nosing and pre-punched end plates to facilitate installation.
These weights are based on use of 194 Welded Grating and a base treads length of 18". For each additional inch add the appropriate weight from table for Bearing Bar Sizes. For 1/8" Bearing Bars deduct 10% from weights.
