 Operating Principle

A ball mill consists of a horizontal cylindrical shell ,provided with renewable wearing liners and grinding medium—steel balls .In the low-speed rotating shell ,there are many steel balls working as grinding medium.Continually dropping from one end of the cylinder ,the materials are constantly smashed by the steel balls which are ,under the influence of the rolling cylinderare ,taken to a certain height of the cylinder wall and then thrown down .There will be a irregular rolling and sliding process between balls and the materials, in which  the materials will become finer and finer .
