Gabion box is also called heavy hexagonal wire mesh, green grid wire mesh, twisted fence, gabion mesh, three twist weaving mesh, the wire diameters are choosen by the sizes of the hexagonal openings.
Gabion box is divided into: galvanized gabion box (hexagonal wire mesh), pvc gabion box (hexagonal wire mesh), zinc coated-aluminum alloy wire gabion box (hexagonal wire mesh).
(1) galvanized wire mesh is using high quality low carbon steel wire, the tensile strength of steel wire is not less than 38kg/m2, wire diameter can reach 2.0mm-4.0mm, we usually protecte the steel surface by usually hot-dip galvanizing, the thickness of zinc coating can be made according to customers' request , the largest amount can up to 300g/m2.
(2) PVC coated hexagonal wire mesh is to have a layer of PVC coating on the surface, and then woven into all kinds of hexagonal. This layer of PVC coating will greatly increase the mesh life, and we also can choose different colorsto be integrated to the surrounding natural environment.
(3)zinc coated-aluminum alloy wire hexagonal wire mesh:PVC coated the steel wire on the outside of the -5% zinc aluminum mixed rare earth layer, then woven into all kinds of hexagonal wire mesh.
