Monel 400This alloy contains approximately 67% nickel, 28% copper, and 5% other elements.Monel Woven Wire Cloth(Wire Mesh)is essentially non-corrodible. Monel Woven Wire Cloth(Wire Mesh) Is more resistant than copper to oxidation and is more resistant than nickel to reducing conditions. Monel was very popular in the past for food processing due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. Monel wire cloth is often replaced today with stainless steel. This 400 grade monel is highly resistant to the corrosive action of acids, alkalides and salt water.Monel Woven Wire Cloth(Wire Mesh)has the same strength of mild steel.
