COMPARISON BETWEEN LED STREET LIGHT AND TRADITIONAL STREET LIGHTS
Nowadays 250W and 400W high pressure sodium lights are commonly used for street lights. We recommend the use of 80W and 160W semiconductor street light as alternatives. For distributor roads, side roads, pedestrian paths 25W~60W semiconductor street lights can be used. For roads which are not in the shade of tall building or trees, solar energy, wind-solar hybrid or optical-electricity hybrid can be chosen. If semiconductor street lights are used, 60% energy saving can be achieved with 10 years service life, which will substantially decrease the ongoing maintenance requirements.
