It has needed to adjust the height of it but for those that might, it is done with screws. Might be an issue of convenience for some people but those that only need to adjust it once and leave it at that, should be fine. There are several holes in the surface of the desk for added ventilation. I have a 15″ VAIO laptop and it fits perfectly. I would not recommend this for people with anything bigger than a 15″ as it would encroach on your mouse space. I did not have any problem with the wooden piece on the bottom being too small to support my laptop.
The drawer is a little small, wide but not deep. It's big enough to fit my earphones and maybe a few flash drives. It is not deep enough to fit a wireless mouse. The drawer also has a stopper to prevent it from sliding out all the way. There is a cup holder on the top right hand side of the desk, above where the mouse will be used.
