Product Overview:
Adopting new techniques like advanced radio frequency and digital hybrid integration design, broadband and fundamental wave mixing, digital IF processing and intelligent power management, etc., AV3680A Cable and Antenna Analyzer has advantages of fast measuring speed, high measurement accuracy, small size, light weight, battery power, touch screen operation and adjustable backlighting. It can measure return loss, standing wave ratio (SWR), impedance, phase, DTF (discontinuity point fixing), etc.
Main Features:
- Automatic adjustment of screen brightness.AV3680A Cable and Antenna Analyzer can adjust the backlighting of the LCD automatically according to the environment. The users can also adjust the backlighting manually.
- High measuring speed. The top measuring speed as high as 1ms/point
- Support list sweep. The users can sweep multiple frequency bands they are concerned about, every frequency band can be set with different parameters, such as sweep point, IF bandwidth, etc.
- GPS location function. AV3680A Cable and Antenna Analyzer has built-in GPS receiver, the users can get their current location information through the external antenna.
- Support touch screen operation. AV3680A Cable and Antenna Analyzer has a 7-inch LCD touch screen, all the common operations can be done through it.
- Test data storage and playback. AV3689A Cable and Antenna Analyzer can store the test data to the internal FLAH memory, external USB memory and SD card.
FDR
Frequency Domain Reflectometer (FDR) is similar to Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) in the name, and both are used for measurement of transmission line. TDR sends excitation signal of DC pulse which can be used to measure the On/Off and off position of a cable but is insensitive to RF problems that may result in fault and performance degradation of RF communication equipment. While FDR adopts sweep signal for measurement, by getting time domain specification through complex mathematical operation, it may detect sight performance degradation of RF in system so as to do timely maintenance, thereby saving high maintenance cost of damage due to delayed repair of RF cable.
