Introduction
With the development of network communications, security and reliability of network hardware becomes more and more important. The media converter management system designed by USource can monitor remote media converters, realizing preventive against abnormal network and timely maintenance, which is fit for Telecom Operators improving quality of customer services. The system is developed based on SNMP and supports GUI. It uses in-band network technology, transmit IP data and network management data package via the same fiber. It can control bandwidth from 0 to 100M with step-length 32K, providing different bandwidth services for different customers.

The hardware consists of a standard 19-inch 2U rack chassis with 16 slots which is used to install slide-in card module, redundant power supply and one network management card.
