Bailin Congou tea is originated in the region of Tailao Mountain in Fuding County, Fujian Province, where masses of plants and miraculous rocks cluster. Tea trees are generally planted among cliff forests, their roots going deep underground and leaves growing luxuriantly with snowy sparkling buds. Bailin Congou tea grows there.
Bailin Congou tea has a slender and curved shape. When brewed its soup tinges gorgeously bright, smells fragrant, mature and pleasantly fresh and tastes inexhaustibly mellow. It is nicknamed "Orange Red", suggesting that its color is as gorgeously red as oranges, therefore is reputed as "Red Queen of Fujian Tea".
Brewing Method
It belongs to fully fermented black tea family. It not only has a gorgeous color and mellow taste, but also a mild nature and can absorb in many other materials. You can add milk, sugar or lemon juice into it, or add nothing, drinking as it is in nature.
1.Better use mineral water.
2.Wash the tea utensils with boiling water. Better use pure white porcelain or glass tea sets for the convenience of
observing colors of tea leaves. Better not use red porcelain to brew dark tea.
3.Put in one-third full of tea after having warmed the teapot. Brew with boiling water and then scrape off the offscum and
dusts and impunities.
4.Don't flush in water. Slow down the speed, put the lid on and stop pouring in water for 1 to 3 minutes. The longer you
let it brew, the more tastes you can extract. Then you can adjust the water guided by your experience according to the
amount of tea and your personal taste.
5.Pour the tea soup into a tea strainer or directly into small cups for enjoyment when it is still hot.
