Type SS Sheet 316Ti is molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel which is more resistant to general corrosion and pitting/crevice corrosion than the conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as Type 304.SS Sheet 316Ti has a high resistance to many chemical corrodents and marine atmospheres.The type SS Sheet 316Ti also provides the excellent fabricability and formability which are typical of the austenitic stainless steels.
