Description of Ore-dressing Equipment XB-1000 Conditioning Tank:
Froth flotation is a separation method (valuable mineral species from gangue minerals) based on the differences of their surface properties in a aqueous media with air bubbles.
Before to enter in cells flotation cells or columns which will carry out this separation, slurry must be prepared properly. Among other things it must be properly conditioned with the reagents (depressant, frother, activator, collector, pH regulator)in cylindrical tanks agitated by a propeller, named conventional conditioners, during one to several ten or so minutes.

- a cylindrical tank with flat bottom equipped with anti-rotation baffles,
- a draft tube for slurry recirculation (with anti-rotation baffles).
- an agitating mobile (shaft + propeller).
