It can be triggered by sudden change of ambient temperature caused by moving game in a region of interest (ROI), which is detected by a highly sensitive,Passive Infra-Red (PIR) sensor, and then take pictures or video clips automatically.

This is the invisible Ltl-5120A 940nm,which uses the advanced Low-Glow flash technology that the IR flash is barely visible from 5 feet away. Unlike the Red Flash or White Flash, the game or the intruder will hardly notice the existence of the Low-Glow Flash. The infrared blue LEDs do not glow red on this model and so it is ideal for covert operations (note the actual infraed blue light for all models is invisible to the naked eye, it is only the LEDs that have a faint glow in the standard version and all other trail cameras).
