On its release in 2008/9, the Metaza MPX-80 kept the powerful 529dpiphoto engraving capabilities of the previous MPX-70 model and introduceda few significant upgrades.
The introduction of vector line engravings dramatically improved theeffects of Metaza text and logo engraving by providing solid lineengravings using the dot impact print method at a staggering resolutionof 1058dpi. This solid line effect engraving for text and logos meansthat you get the same engraving effect from the Metaza MPX-80 as youwould with a much more traditional, more expensive, more difficult tooperate, larger diamond drag engraving machine.
