Applications
This series of capacitors has been designed for single phase A.C motors where high starting torque and small dimensions are required.
Construction
The winding is housed in an aluminum case, sealed with a rubber coated bakelite lid. A special vent is situated in the bakelite which will break, open in case of internal over pressure thus preventing explosion. The aluminum case in inserted into a plastic sleeve in order to insulate the capacitor's body to prevent any short circuit. The capacitors are normally supplied with soldering terminals. Other types can be supplied on request.
