QAM Modulator/upconverter with 2 ASI inputs and one RF output

DMB-5000 QAM modulator is a high-quality QAM digital Modulator, based on international DVB standard, designed for digital TV and signal transmissions.

DMB-5000 receives multiplexed TS data stream and performs frame weaving, Reed Soloman (RS) encoding and QAM modulation and results in modulated RF or IF output signals, ready for the cable transmission network. With digital IF modulation, the modulator has the high performance of MER, carrier-to-noise ratio, phase noise, margin of error, etc. It also supports PID filtrating & mapping and PSI/SI updating. The DMB-5000 QAM modulator supports constellation of 16 QAM, 32 QAM, 64 QAM, 128 QAM, and 256 QAM. For the model with RF output, the equipment provides RF output in the frequency range of 50 MHz – 860 MHz, tunable in a step of 12.5 KHz and offers an adjustable output level.
