Technical conditions for plates of P460NH
1. Scope
The technical conditions apply to plates of P460NH with thickness not more than 250mm. (8mm-250mm)
2. Dimension, Shape, Weight and Permissible Deviation
The dimension, shape, weight and permissible deviation shall meet the requirements of EN10029.
3. Technical conditions
3.1 Chemical composition (Ladle analysis)
The chemical composition of plates shall be accordance with the following table 1.

3.2 Carbon equivalent (CEq)
Carbon equivalent shall be not more than 0.53 for plates of P460NH.
Carbon equivalent shall be calculated as follows:
CEq=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15 (%)
3.3 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of P460NH shall meet the requirement as table 2.

3.4 Surface quality
The surface quality of plates shall be accordance with EN10163-2.
3.5 Ultrasonic inspection
Plates shall be ultrasonic inspected per EN10160-1999 S1E2.
3.6 Test method and inspection rules
Test items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method shall conform to table 4.

4. Package, marking and certificate
Package, marking and certificate shall conform to EN10028-1.
5. The third party inspection
The chemical composition, tensile test and Charpy -V impact test for plates of P460NH shall be witnessed by surveyor of GL.
6. Delivery conditions
The delivery conditions for plates of P460NH shall be Normalized.
7. Other requirements
The other requirements for plates of P460NH shall be accordance with EN10028-3.
