Hydrostatic Pressure Test

Each length of welded steel pipes shall be hydrostatically tested.

D≤457mm, Time holding test pressure≥5 seconds

D>457mm, Time holding test pressure≥10 seconds

Non-destructive Inspection

The full length (100%) of welded seam of steel pipe shall be ultrasonically inspected online. After each length of welded pipes is hydrostatically tested, the ultimate 200mm length of welded seam at both ends of each pipe shall be inspected by manual ultrasonic method.

Heat Treatment

Analog normalizing heat treatment for the welded beams shall be conducted online.
