RDS Double-shaft Shredder is specially designed for material of greater volume, thickness and hardness. The intelligent design of low speed rotor and high torque cutters translates into the advantages of low noise level, low power consumption and high throughput. It can also function as pre-shredding solution in multiple recycling systems.
Design
The material to be shredded is drawn into the cutting chamber by the teeth (B) on the cutting discs (A). The cutters are arranged in an overlapping pattern therefore ensuring both horizontal and vertical cut of the material. On the bottom, the material is removed by stripping bars (C) and discharged downwards.
