Geosynthetic Clay Liner laminated with geomembrane GCL-M
GCL-M is a new type Geosynthetic clay liner laminated with geomembrane,this reinforced type of GCLs consisting of a layer of sodium bentonite between woven and non-woven geotextile layers which are needle-punched together, then with a flexible HDPE membrane liner laminated to non-woven geotextile by hot melt adhesive.
GCL-M provides excellent waterproofing performance, also have better puncture-resistance and tensile strengths than normal plastic membranes.
GCL-M is widely used in landfill, man-made lakes, garden ponds, wetlands, reed beds, lagoons, swimming ponds, fisheries, as well as used on more environmental applications such as in canal lining, river and stream improvement etc. Because it does not need specialised welding equipment or professional workers for installing, so that GCL-M can be installed easily at website, no need more instruction or supervision, despite its characteristics is super than other liners.
