GM-8000A
IP- Based Stream Multiplexer and Scrambler
Product Overview
GOSPELL’s fully IP- based GM-8000A stream processing platform is designed to offer multiplexing, PSI/SI processing, data injection, advertising insertion and scrambling of hundreds of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC SD and HD transport streams incoming from IP network. As the flagship device of TS processing which has inherited the advantages of high reliability from legacy ASI processing platform, it is equipped with Gigabit Ethernet interface both for transport inputs and outputs. This enables the service provider to have a far greater flexibility in deployment for new generation of IP-based headend systems.
The GM-8000A has a 1RU, highly integrated and fully IP- based design that can reduce rack space and power consumption. It can also greatly simplify the headend infrastructure for the service provider. Moreover, the GM-8000A supports Web browser management for convenient management and maintenance. With this stream processing platform, service providers will have a scalable, reliable and highly competitive video stream solution for subscribers with lower total cost of ownership.
