DMS, D2A,D2B, D2C, - there is no drive that is not compatible with the WASABI! They now even work on Korean Nintendo Wii drives.
The first generation of Wasabi mod-chips had problems due to the electrical design of the chip, causing drives to click and required the shorting of an on-board component.
Wasabi could be translated into english as INNOVATION. They were the first team to allow upgrades by DVD for D2C drives, the first team to provide a 9 wire installation for D2C drives, the first team to have a TRULY universal backwards (legacy) compatible mod-chip.
