Swimming pool heat pumps are placed close to the pool, harnessing the heat energy from the surrounding air and transferring the heat into the pool water. For every unit of energy used for the pump it can produce 5 units of energy into the swimming pool water, creating a very efficient system and substantially lowering existing heating costs.
