Process Description:
The PSA nitrogen generator is based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, and uses high quality carbon molecular sieve as adsorbent, and utilizes pressure swing principle to separate nitrogen from the compressed air.
The purified dry compressed air goes through the adsorption tower full of adsorbent, and due to the kinetic effect and the diffusion rate difference of oxygen and nitrogen on the carbon molecular sieve, a large number of oxygen molecule is adsorbed by carbon molecular sieve in a short time, and the nitrogen molecule is enriched in gas phase, by which oxygen and nitrogen are separated.
The carbon molecular sieve’s adsorption capacity for oxygen has obvious difference with different pressures. So decrease the pressure, the oxygen molecule adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve can be released, and the carbon molecular sieve is regenerated to repeat the recycling, and achieve the continuous production of high quality nitrogen.
