Installation(inductive ballast):

1) Turn off the power to the light fixture at the breaker panel before installation.

2) Open the diffuser from the light fixture.

3) Remove the fluorescent tubes. Please dispose of these items properly as they contain mercury.

4) Open the wiring cover to expose the fluorescent ballast.

5) Cut the wire as shown. Do not remove the starter and ballast, Keep it in place.

6) Make the new wire connect to branch circuit shown as the diagram below. Connect the L/N to one end of lampholder, the other end of the lamp access to the other end of the lampholder. After modified, add an identification for the live end of lampholder, e.g.”LIVE END” or”L, N”.

7) Replace the cover over the wiring channel.

8) IMPORTANT: Install the label provided that states "this fixture has been modified for LED lamps", inside the fixture in an easily visible location to anyone changing lamps, possibly on the cover over the wiring channel.
