Laminate Flooring Disadvantages:
Sometimes,laminate Flooring can be noisy, particularly for neighbors in an apartment complex because vibrations through laminate floors can tend to carry through to the floor below.
The laminate flooring can be wearable resistance, heavy dogs with big claws could inflict damage into the wear resistance layer, so we advise that dog owners considering to buy laminate floors should either install the floors in rooms that are out of bounds to the dogs, clip the dogs’ claws regularly, or buy laminate floors with a high wear resistance level such as AC3 or AC4.
If the weather is high moisture,we do not suggested to install laminate flooring in a house that has high moisture. Neither is it a good idea to install in a bathroom where pools of water are common. If moisture gets into the HDF core-board it can swell or get infested with mildew and must be replaced.
Laminate flooring is not easily repaired one damaged. It can not be re-buffed,sanded down, or polished like hardwood floor. Planks that get damaged generally must be totally replaced because once the wear resistance layer is scratched too deep then it will leave the HDF core open to moisture or dirt.
