Application

 

Road rollers use the weight of the vehicle to compress the surface being rolled (static) or use mechanical advantage (vibrating). Initial compaction of the substrate on a road project is done using a padfoot drum roller, which achieves higher compaction density due to the pads having less surface area. On large freeways a four wheel compactor with padfoot drum and a blade, would be used due to its high weight, speed and the powerful pushing force to spread bulk material. On regional roads a smaller single padfoot drum machine may be used. The next machine is usually a single smooth drum compactor that compacts the high spots down until the soil is smooth, and this is usually done in combination with a motor grader to get a level surface.

It adopts hydraulic drive and electric-hydraulic control technology, contributing to simple operation. 
Automatic watering and vibrating system improves the flatness of the road compaction. 
XCMG patented crab mechanism and dual-articulated steering could ensure staggering distance of 200mm between the front and rear drums, which is convenient for the side compaction and turning compaction. When the dual-articulation is activated simultaneously, the min. turning radius could be 6000mm.
Adjustable resin mud-scraper features easy operation.
Leading in industry of compaction and watering function
The vibration frequency is adjustable in certain range, two gears of amplitude adapt to the asphalt compaction of different depth.
The unique separate vibration function. The front and rear drums could vibrate at the same time, and the drum could vibrate separately, improving the compaction efficiency. 
 

Excellent configuration
The key imported parts: imported hydraulic plunger piston and motor feature higher centrifugal force and theoretical gradeability. The watering pump and vibration bearing are all of imported parts. There are multiple configurations for the engine to choose to meet various conditions.
Large capacity plastic water tank, three-stage filtering, and double watering systems and interval 7-gear watering ensure the smooth watering.
 

Convenient repair
The engine hood could be opened from three sides, and the engine and hydraulic pump and each control valve could be checked easily.
