Insulating Glass is a kind of new building material with good heat insulation, noise insulation, aesthetics appearance, and can reduce the self-weight of the building. Combined by two or more pieces of glass and filled with dry air or other inert gases, the insulating glass is produced through the process of being putting the aluminum frame filled with desiccant between the two pieces of glass and sealed with sealant. The primary role of the hollow is to reduce the environmental heat exchange on both sides of the vitreous body. It has the obvious energy-saving effect, and sometimes it is also called as heat insulating glass or sound insulating glass.
Insulating glass is two (or three-piece) glass, using high strength and tightness composite adhesive bonding glass and the aluminum frame contains desiccant, made of high-performance noise insulation, anti-frost, moisture, high-strength glass wind pressure.
Insulating glass is a multi-glass combination consisting of two or more panels enclosing a hermetically-sealed air space. The sheets are connected by an aluminum spacer with the desiccant inside, and the whole unit is hermetically assembled by double sealant (butyl, ply-solitude, silicon, etc. ). The function will be enhances if fill the air space with inert glass.
Can be made with the compounding of several functional sheets to enhance capability, such as tempered insulating glass, laminated insulating glass, curved insulating glass, Low-E insulating glass, insulating glass with coating and TEC electric coating insulating glass, etc.
