II) Description:
1) Rotation modes:
Mode 1: Winder is off.
Mode 2: Winder rotates clockwise for 2 minutes, rests for 6 minutes, then repeats the cycle.
Mode 3: Winder rotates counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, rests for 6 minutes, then repeats the cycle.
Mode 4: Winder rotates clockwise for 2 minutes, rests for 6 minutes, rotates counterclockwise for 2 minutes, rests for 6 minutes, then repeats the cycle.
Mode 5: Winder rotates clockwise for 5 minutes, counter-clockwise for 5 minutes, repeating this cycle for 3 hours, then rest for 9 hours before repeating the entire cycle from the beginning.

If you're looking to save money on a watch winder, you have 2 choices. You can get a super-cheap winder (we don't produce it) that you'll have to replace in 3 months, or you can get an Goochy. If you plan on sleeping anywhere near the winder, you'll want to go with option 2. Goochy winders are ultra quiet. The Goochy winders are all set for 1340 turns per day. This is perfect for most watches. There are only a tiny number of watches that require more than that. If your watch requires fewer than 1340 turns, a Goochy will still work fine. Automatic watches have a built-in mechanism that prevents over-winding. As long as the winder doesn't spin much, a few extra turns won't hurt it. Goochy winders have a switch that controls the turning direction. The bi-directional setting would be used for a Rolex,etc.
