The aluminum alloy and toughened glass housing combines the solar panel, the replaceable lithium ion batteries, and the dusk-to-dawn automatic lighting controller and battery charger all into one unit. Installation is as simple as bolting the light onto a pole or a flat surface by using its aluminum mounting bracket, included with every light. There are no wires or plugs to connect whatsoever! Push the 'on' button and you're done! New and improved automatic lighting program turns the light on at dusk each night at 500 lumens, and continues the 500 lumen output until dawn. During the night, the newly enhanced motion detection system will switch the light to 3000 lumens whenever IR motion is detected within a range of up to 15' and within a beam angle of 120° from the sensor on the light. 100% bright mode of 3000 lumens will last continuously for a long period with constant activity, and the light will resume 500 lumens after 30 seconds following the end of motion or activity. This intelligent performance programming conserves battery power when not in use and extends bright mode duration whenever it is being used.
