Why does my new memory foam product have an odor?
Memory foam may have a slight odor that remains from the manufacturing process. This odor, often refered to as a "fresh foam smell", is normal and completely harmless, and will dissipate within a few days. Both memory foam and conventional foam are used in products you come in contact with every day in upholstered furniture,vehicles,office, furniture etc. upon opening, there may still be a "brand new memory foam" odor, but it dissipate quickly and completely.
