Hansen RG series drop cable can be applied to different fields according to different structure type. The recommended application situations of different structure types are listed below. All RG series can be stably used under these situations without influencing the electrical property. Normal single Normal single type is well-suited for a wide range of application, mostly as CATV distribution cable, drop cable, aerially and short spans to the house. Tri-shield For better shielding effect than standard. Quad-shield For highest shielding, especially application in double way network. Flooded Specially formulated non-dripping coating on shield, for serious environments, with stable electrical performance, long service life. Messengered Convenience in handling, higher efficiency. Dual Two single cables are joined by an overall extruded jacket. This type is mainly applied to conditions such as double terminal, or double system, sparing installation cost and increasing efficiency compared with two single cables. Dual messengered Dual cable plus jacketed steel wire, convenience in handling, higher efficiency.
Features and advantages
Coaxial drop cable includes RG59, RG6, RG7, and RG11 four series, with excellent electrical performance, mainly applied to CATV network distribution, frequency range from 5MHz to 1000MHz, providing reliable transmission and anti-noise effects for double way network. Copper conductor consists of low or non-oxygen copper, manufactured by high quality equipment imported from Europe. Copper clad steel is imported or supplied from foreign funded factories. Hansen is the first company who realized high physical foaming with nitrogen and achieved advanced international level in China. Foaming rate as high as 80%, without polar residual, with excellent transmission property. Closed cell in dielectric, preventing penetration of water and gas, with stable property and long service life. Aluminum foil for shielding is a key material in cable.
