The emery filter material is a new filter material for wastewater treatment with such properties as good appearance glossiness, high mechanical strength, high melting point, high proportion, acid resistance, wear resistance, and strong interception capability, as well as stable chemical properties which enable it to be insoluble in acid, neutral and alkaline water.Operating principle:Under normal working condition, wastewater enters the filtering tank from inlet of the device, and evenly passes filter material layer after water distribution in distribution device at the top.Through migration and adhesive attraction of particles suspended on wastewater by the filter material, particles on the wastewater is retained in the filter material. Filtered water will all discharge from the outlet through distribution device at the bottom. In this way, suspended solids and oil on the wastewater will be removed.As filtration goes on, plentiful suspended solids will block pore spaces on each filtering layer which will affect filtering rate and quality. Therefore, backwash must be performed to rinse the filter material so as to adopt normal filtering process.When washing the filter material, air wash shall be performed before water wash. Air back-washing is to scrub the sewage adhering to the surface of the filter material by making use of vibration of ascending air bubbles to have the sewage suspend in water. Then high strength back-washing water will be used for evenly rinsing each filtering layer after even water distribution in distribution device with high resistance at the bottom.
