Instrument principle 

The principle of chromatography is a separation technique established on utilizing the physical property difference of various components in the mixture (e.g., adsorption, molecular shape and size, molecular polarity, molecular affinity, distribution coefficient, etc.). Chromatography system is composed of stationary phase and mobile phase. Stationary phase is solid substance or immobilized content on solid material. The mobile phase is flowing substance, such as water or various solvents.

Chromatographic process: When the mixture to be separated runs with the mobile phase through the stationary phase, due to the differences in physical and chemical properties of various components in the mixture, the components that have weak interaction with the stationary phase incur less blocking effect when run with the mobile phase, so they move forward faster; those components with strong interaction with the stationary phase move forward more slowly. Therefore the separation of various components in the mixture is fulfilled.

Immuno-chromatography technique is an emerging immunoassay technology based on the chromatographic techniques and antigen - antibody specific immune response.

Immuno-chromatography technique takes strip fiber chromatographic material fixed with the testing line and control line as stationary phase, takes the test solution as the mobile phase, move the analytes on the chromatographic strip by capillary action. The analytes cause specific immunoreaction at T-line. The free material causes immunoreaction at C-line.

Working principle of NORMAN FIA FI-1000

Put the testing card which is already reacted into immunofluorescence analyzer, the instrument's measurement system automatically scans T line and the C line to obtain an optical signal . Then measure the optical signal, processes and analyzes, finally get the quantitative results of the concentration of test substance.
