Monolithic Refractories for Iron Trough of Blast Furnace
Introduction
Monolithic refractories for iron trough developed by Haiger have following features:(1) good corrosion and erosion resistances to molten iron and slag;(2) good oxidation resistance;(3) high strength and good thermal shock resistance;(4) being convenient to install and easy to repair and remove, noadhension to iron and slag. They have been used in large and medium blast furnaces in Shougang and Meigang, and satisfactory results have been achieved. The castables also can be made into precast blocks.
