The core switches use S8600 series, S8600 series are designed for high-density access switching integrated platform which combine multi-service and high-density 10G switching requirement, they are deployed for high-density switch as carrier broadband access network. S8600 series have the unique half-size slot service cards for the highest density EPON/GPON/10GE/10GEPON port and terabit switching net can provide the ability of 40/100G future upgrade switching and smooth upgrade access platform. S8600 series have the first innovation processing architecture with fully distributed based on 64-bit multi-core processors and high performance AISC. They can provide IPv4/IPv6 wire-speed transferring capacity and be widely used on the IP MANs of carriers, WANs and MANs of enterprises, egress, core layer, and convergence layer of enterprise.
The aggregation layer adopts S3750-24S series, it is a GE layer 3 manageable switch , S3750-24S has 24*1000Base-X SFP ports,4*10/100/1000Base-T Combo and own 10GE line card slot. It can forward with full speed and keep the network stable. It also expands easily by 10GE line card slot based on requirements. Additional, it supports more layer ACL to keep the network security.
The access layer adopts S2600-18TC, owns 16*10/100Base-T ports,2*combo , support MAC authentication, MAC VLAN, divide into different VLAN by working with Radius according to access MAC, issue different ACL, distinguish different service from set-top box, PC, it is easy operation for MAC authentication that doesn’t need to approve client.
