Yellow Dual Magnetic Needle Counter 30 Count with Click Lock
Our sharps safety box is designed to remove the risk posed to staff, from the replacement, disposal of used surgical sharps. The box offers an effective and safe means by which to remove needles, scalpel blades etc., but also provides an easy-see counting mechanism to ensure all sharps instruments used in surgery are counted-out at the end.
The box is made from a rigid polymer, safe for incineration and comes in a range of colours to suit.
The inside contains two areas,
- White counting pad is used for holding sharps before use, and with the foam base, needles and blades can safely be inserted into the foam ready for use. Underneath the foam is an adhesive layer that can then be used to extract blades/needles from the syringe/holder once finished with
- Black magnetic strip is designed to hold used sharps in place once they have been disposed of, preventing them from moving within the box.
Once procedures are complete or the box is full, it can simply be closed and with the click-lock feature, all sharps are then safely contained inside.
