GPS Installation
Installation base of water pump
1. The base should have enough strength, stability and durability.
2. Under the action of static force, settling and decline should be within the permitted range to ensure that the water pump can be used normally.
3. The base vibration should be within the permitted range to ensure the water pump’s normal work and the normal working conditions for the operator. The proper vibration isolation measures should be taken to reduce the adverse effect on the nearby machine and instrument.
4. Derrick style or wall style base adopts reinforced concrete, and the concrete labels are No. 150 and 200. Arrange steel bars according to calculation by inner force degree, or arrange structural bar according to the civil work specification.
5. The clear distance from the foundation edge to the base side is generally no less than 100mm. The thickness of the leveling blanket with secondary grouting or grout blanket is no less than 25mm.
6. The pattern and size as well as installation position of the ground bolt are adopted according to the assembly drawing. Its minimum depth buried in the concrete is determined according to the actual stress; when the stress can not be determined, it will be considered according to the principle that the bolt can be broken when pulling but not be drawn out.
7. The base mass and buried depth should be determined according to the requirements of installation object, with the principle that when the equipment is powered on, its disturbing force will not cause the base’s vibration. Generally the mass of water pump base should be more than 10 times of the water pump’s mass.
8. At the premise of the base meeting construction requirements, i.e., ensuring that the bottom of bolt built-in fitting has enough concrete protective layers, and the pit bottom has certain thickness (guaranteed strength), the base height should be as thin as possible.
9. In order to prevent fissure caused by temperature and shrink stress, uneven settlement or vibration, the base requires being equipped with steel bar. Generally steel bars with the diameter of 10~ 16mm are arranged, and the interval is 200~400mm.
