Overview for the Topcon DL 502 32X Digital Auto Level
The Topcon DL-502 Digital Auto Level with 32x magnification incorporates cutting-edge technology to provide exceptional height, elevation and distance accuracy. With a large internal memory, inverse staff reading, wave and read technology, and pre-installed measurement programs, this surveying and construction tool maximizes work efficiency and minimizes error.
Stability and Speed
With a working range of up to 328 feet, the DL-502 has a height accuracy of 1/32 inch per kilometer double-run and 3/8 inch at 33 feet distance accuracy. This auto level has four measurement modes: single-fine, repeat-fine, average and tracking. In addition, it is equipped with a shock-resistant pendulum compensator with magnetic damping system and allows you to take a single measurement in only 2.5 seconds.
Inverse Staff Reading
The Topcon DL-502 digital level automatically recognizes the barcode staff's direction and displays the result with a minus sign. Height of ceiling, overpass, bridge, road sign, tree branch, tunnel crown, and other objects can be easily measured without a calculator.
Wave and Read Technology
The world's first wave and read technology provides an additional survey style option that allows a rod operator to wave the staff back and forth to read the correct height, instead of keeping it plumb. This simpler method is faster, easier, minimizes the fatigue and is just as accurate.
Internal Memory
Simply aim the barcode staff, adjust the focus, and press a single key to measure height and distance. The results are immediately displayed digitally on the backlit LCD and can be recorded in the 2,000 points internal memory.
Water Resistant
With an IPX4 rating, the DL 502 is protected against water splashes from any direction. Even when the staff surface is partially shaded or in dim lighting conditions, a single button triggers measurement and this optical instrument instantly provides reliable results. It is also powered by a Li-ion-battery which is capable of supplying power for up to 16 hours.
